About Dr. Garrett Spruill

Dr. D. Garrett Spruill has been a valued member of the Greenbrier Dental Center family since 2010. He and his team are dedicated to creating a warm, welcoming environment where children feel safe, comfortable, and cared for—and where parents feel confident and reassured that their child is receiving exceptional, compassionate dental care.
Dr. Spruill earned both his undergraduate degree and Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from the University of North Carolina, completing dental school in 2008. He then completed a two-year residency in pediatric dentistry at St. Christopher’s Hospital for Children in Philadelphia, gaining advanced training in caring for infants, children, and adolescents with a focus on comfort and positive experiences.
As a board-certified pediatric dentist, Dr. Spruill stays current with the latest advances in pediatric dental care to ensure every child receives gentle, personalized treatment. From a baby’s very first dental visit to routine checkups and more complex care, his approach is centered on helping children feel at ease. He takes time to explain each step in a calm, friendly way, helping both children and parents know what to expect and reducing anxiety before it begins.
Dr. Spruill understands that a child’s early dental experiences shape how they feel about oral health for life. That’s why he focuses on building trust, using a patient, centered approach that helps children feel safe, heard, and proud of their visits. Each of the five dentists at Greenbrier Dental Center has a team of four to five people and a team leader who is responsible for ensuring not only the clinical performance of the team but also the way patients are treated.
