About Dr. Collin Rice

Dr. Collin Rice has been a cornerstone of the Greenbrier Dental Center family since 2014. Known for his compassionate approach and commitment to clinical excellence, Dr. Rice combines advanced training with personalized care to help patients achieve healthy, confident smiles.
Born and raised in Kilmarnock, Virginia, Dr. Rice earned his Bachelor of Science in Biology from Norfolk State University and a Master of Science in Public Health from Virginia Commonwealth University. Before pursuing dentistry, he enjoyed a successful career as a science educator, teaching at both high school and collegiate levels. His passion for science, healthcare, and making a meaningful difference in people’s lives ultimately led him to dentistry. He went on to earn his Doctor of Dental Surgery degree from Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry.
During dental school, Dr. Rice was actively involved in community outreach, participating in Mission of Mercy clinics, oral cancer awareness events, and numerous volunteer initiatives focused on improving access to dental care. Following graduation, he completed a General Practice Residency at the Dental College of Georgia at Augusta University, where he received advanced training in comprehensive dentistry, with an emphasis on dental implants, oral surgery, and IV sedation.
In recognition of his advanced training and commitment to implant dentistry, Dr. Rice was awarded a Fellowship in the International Congress of Oral Implantologists ICOI. He is also licensed by the Commonwealth of Virginia to administer IV and oral conscious sedation.
Dr. Rice believes in partnering with his patients through education, communication, and individualized treatment planning. Whether providing preventive care or advanced implant and sedation dentistry, his goal is to deliver compassionate, personalized treatment in a comfortable environment where every patient feels informed, respected, and confident in their care.
Outside of the office, Dr. Rice enjoys traveling, attending sporting events, and spending time with his family.

Each of the five dentists at Greenbrier Dental Center has a team of four to five people and a team leader who is responsible for ensuring not only the clinical performance of the team but also the way patients are treated.
