Dr. Lisa Doan

Dr. Doan joined the Greenbrier Denal Center Family in July of 2017.

She was born and raised in Virginia Beach. She is graduate of Kempsville High School.  She earned her Bachelor of Science - Honors Biology degree at George Mason University in Fairfax, Virginia and attained her Doctor of Dental Surgery degree (DDS) from VCU School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. Following dental school, she entered a residency for Advanced Education in General Dentistry at the V.A. Medical Center in Miami, Florida. From here, she obtained advanced experience in all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on complex prosthodontics, endodontics, and operative dentistry while acquiring the skills to manage medically compromised patients.

Dr. Doan is passionate about the field of dentistry and loves that it is a mix of art, health, and science. Dentistry allows her to build close relationships with her patients while improving their overall health. She has a wonderful chairside manner, a gentle hand, and takes extra care to listen to her patients in order to provide her patients with exceptional care. She always tries to make experiences in the dental office as pleasant as possible.

She believes in giving back to the community. Dr. Doan has worked as a volunteer for several charitable organizations including; The Charlottesville Free Clinic, Special Olympics and the VCU Mission of Mercy Project. She has helped to provide free dental care to residents of underserved areas in Virginia through the Mission of Mercy Projects. Dr. Doan has also participated in two separate mission trips to Jamaica, providing access to free dental care to the residents of the island. 

In her spare time, she spends time with her family, traveling and reading.  She enjoys the beach and outdoor activities.
