Dr. Collin Rice joined the Greenbrier Dental Center Family in August of 2014. 

He was born and raised in Kilmarnock, VA.  After graduating from high school he went on to receive his B.S. degree in Biology from Norfolk State University.   He later attended Virginia Commonwealth University and received his M.S. in Public Health.  Following that, he had the unique opportunity to teach chemistry and biology at Lancaster High school, his alma mater.  After relocating to the DC area, he taught at the collegiate level and had the responsibility of developing a medical laboratory technician program for Southeastern University in DC.  

After discovering his passion, Dr. Rice attended dental school at Virginia Commonwealth University, School of Dentistry, obtaining his Doctorate of Dental Surgery.  While in dental school he was very active in community service taking part in Mission of Mercy projects, oral cancer walks, as well as volunteering at various events in the community.

Following dental school he entered a General Practice Residency at Georgia Regents University, in Augusta, GA to obtain advanced experience all aspects of dentistry with an emphasis on implant placement and restorations, surgical extractions of impacted third molars, and IV conscious sedation. 
Dr. Rice is a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists.  He is also a member of the American Dental Association, Academy of General Dentistry, Virginia Dental Association, Tidewater Dental Association, and the National Dental Association.  He is also licensed to administer IV and oral conscious sedation by the state of Virginia.

In his spare time he likes to travel and spend time with his wife Helene, daughters Elyse & Emarie , and dog Zoey.

Monday - Thursday - 8:00 am to 6:00 pm
Friday - 8:00 am to 4:30 pm

Pediatrics is open the Second Saturday each month during the school year
from 9:00 am to 3:00 pm
