Dr. Collin Rice
General Dentist
Dr. Collin Rice is a dedicated member of the Greenbrier Dental Center Family, having joined in August 2014.
Born and raised in Kilmarnock, VA, Dr. Rice’s journey in dentistry reflects a profound commitment to education, community service, and advanced clinical expertise.
He began his academic journey by earning a B.S. degree in Biology from Norfolk State University, followed by an M.S. in Public Health from Virginia Commonwealth University. Driven by a passion for teaching and service, he embarked on a career in education, teaching chemistry and biology at his alma mater, Lancaster High School, before transitioning to collegiate level instruction at Southeastern University in DC.
Dr. Rice’s journey took a transformative turn when he discovered his calling in dentistry. He pursued his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at Virginia Commonwealth University, where his commitment to community service continued through active involvement in Mission of Mercy projects, oral cancer walks, and various community volunteering initiatives.
Eager to expand his clinical skills, Dr. Rice completed a General Practice Residency at Georgia Regents University in Augusta, GA. During this residency, he gained advanced expertise in all aspects of dentistry, with a focus on implant placement and restorations, surgical extractions of impacted third molars, and IV conscious sedation.
As a result of his training, Dr. Rice became a Fellow of the International Congress of Oral Implantologists. Additionally, he is licensed to administer IV and oral conscious sedation by the state of Virginia.
Beyond his professional endeavors, Dr. Rice treasures spending quality time with his family. He enjoys traveling with his wife Helene, cherishing moments with his daughters Elyse and Emarie.
