Dr. Daniel Etheridge

Dr. Etheridge was born and raised right here in Chesapeake, Virginia. Dr. Daniel Etheridge knew when he was growing up in the Indian River section of Chesapeake that he would someday want a career in healthcare.
He graduated from Indian River High School in 1973 and went on to the College of William and Mary where he earned a B.S. in Biology in 1977. He then went on to Pharmacy School at the Medical College of Virginia where he earned a degree in Pharmacy. While in Pharmacy School he was encouraged by a family friend, who was a dentist, to go on to Dental School. While in dental school, Dr. Etheridge worked as a pharmacist and in 1984 he earned his D.D.S. degree from the Medical College of Virginia.
Daniel Etheridge, D.D.S., opened his practice, Greenbrier Dental Center 30 years ago. Having grown it from a one-chair office to a practice with 26 operatories and five dentists, Dr. Etheridge credits his success to the level of customer service he and his staff provide their patients.
The first and most important step in offering superior customer service at Greenbrier Dental Center is ensuring that every patient knows how important they are to the practice. From the start, Dr. Etheridge envisioned a neighborly practice where patients feel like they are known, cared for and comfortable. And that goal is still a part of everything we do.
Each of the five dentists at Greenbrier Dental Center has a team of four to five people and a team leader who is responsible for ensuring not only the clinical performance of the team but also the way patients are treated. Even though we are a large practice, we want our patients to see that we know them individually and that they are getting care that is personalized for each of them.
Dr. Etheridge is an avid golfer and loves spending time with his wife Diana, eating at nice restaurants and traveling the country. He is very devoted to his church, family, patients and employees.
